Jack and the Desert Serenade

A narrated and illustrated piece for orchestra. This work explores desert animals and their adaptations to living in harsh conditions and served as an introduction to orchestral instruments.

Never thought about rotifers

Until I saw them swim.

Now I see they have allure

As a true aquatic gem.

Morphing ‘n multiplying

Is truly a snap for them,

And Emily found one big thing:

The Beta morphs always win!
